EPC business lead generation for Solar PV Projects (Rooftop & Ground Mount)

  1. Follow up with leads aggressively and systematically.
  2. Thoroughly read and understand the RFP/ RFQ/ bid documents for solar projects and other infrastructure business as per company’s strategy.
  3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders relating to the project.
  4. Coordinate site visits and prepare bid queries from technical, legal, and commercial perspective.
  5. Prepare the techno-commercial documents for submission to clients/ prospective clients.
  6. Negotiate commercial and contractual terms.
  7. Maintaining excellent client relationship for repeat business.
  8. Maintaining excellent client relationship for repeat business.
  9. Understanding customer needs and devising optimum solutions.


  1. A self-starter, curious to learn and able to quickly adapt.
  2. Should be able to read voluminous bid documents thoroughly and understand them commercially.
  3. Should be excellent in communication skills, MS Office (excel, word, PPT), relationship development and business generation and follow up.
  4. Existing contacts in overseas markets, this is not mandatory but will be an added advantage
  5. Should be able to understand the techno-commercial aspects of a solar PV plant.
  6. Should be able to independently handle discussions with clients/ consultants and undertake first level negotiations.
  7. Should be willing to travel.

B.E (Electrical/Mechanical) and MBA preferred

Sr. Site Supervisor - Immediate Requirement

Start Solar is seeking for two Person who is qualified Sr. Site Supervisor Operations & Maintenance (O&M) with experience in renewable energy to join our O & M Department. The Sr. Site Supervisor will be responsible for tracking system performance via live web portals, responding to service tickets, communicating service schedules with customers, and performing field service including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of battery energy storage systems and solar power plants (roof and ground mount). The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting capabilities and excellent organizational skills necessary to achieve production and must be capable of working independently or in a team environment.

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about renewable energy technology, has excellent collaboration and communication skills, and will thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.


  1. Monitor all projects in web-enabled portals
  2. Ensure systems are meeting production output targets, and schedule preventative or corrective service when warranted
  3. Perform field diagnosis and troubleshoot various project systems issues such as inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, communications equipment, etc.
  4. Perform vegetation management when required
  5. Ensure that maintenance schedules are adhered to
  6. Create and/or respond to support tickets
  7. Handle scheduling with clients when field service is required
  8. Work with other members of the maintenance team, sub-contractors, and other groups to continuously improve process, system performance, drive product quality and maintenance cost improvement
  9. Assist in training other O&M Technicians, or co-workers as required
  10. Assist in developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations, and training.
  11. Assist with project commissioning and testing providing knowledge expertise
  12. Conduct preliminary site surveys for the engineering team as required
  13. Adhere to all health and safety rules and company policies
  14. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace whether in office or onsite
  15. Conduct other duties as required
  16. Always demonstrate exemplary ethics and professionalism

Education & Experience

  1. Minimum ITI/Diploma/Engineering in electrical stream required
  2. NABCEP certification is a plus
  3. Minimum 2 years’ technical experience in maintaining and troubleshooting machinery or electrical equipment, preferred in the renewable energy industry

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Preferred experience with PV maintenance, including DC systems, AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring
  2. Computer proficiency and ability to use Microsoft Office software
  3. Ability to learn and use project management software such as PVsyst/ PVSol/ Solarlab
  4. Ability to use CRM online ticketing systems such as Service Hub or comparable
  5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications
  6. Willing to work nights during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  7. Willingness to travel as required
  8. Must be willing and able to climb ladders and stairs when required on-site visits
  9. Must be able to wear PPE as required for specific clients and sites
  10. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  11. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
